KNOWING YOUR RISING SIGN

In astrology is called the Ascendant of a person  to the Zodiac sign that was on the horizon at the time of his/her birth. After the Sun Sign, which is usually known, is the most important figure in our horoscope. Knowing our Ascendant is of vital importance for making the birth chart and it will be the one that characterizes our way of coping with life, or whatever it is, our personality. The planets are in the ascendant line or near it represent the energy and strength of an individual. Generally attention to the signs that rule each person focuses on the occupant of the Sun at birth, the sign to which each belongs is then set for that astras position. However there are many aspects of life and especially of the personality that are governed by another sign, which is called bottom-up in some cases it is as or more important than the Sun Sign, and we  should know it to understand attitudes and interactions .

1. Find the segment that is including your exact time of birth. 
2. Write in that segment the Zodiacal sign you belong. 
3. Moving in the opposite direction clockwise, writes in the other segments of the Zodiac Signs that are yours, in the same order. 
4. The sign you type in Segment 1 (shaded in yellow), is your Ascendant. 

With an example we will see clear: we will find the Ascendant of Elizabeth Taylor, who was born at 07:56 pm under the Sign of Pisces:

1. Locate the segment 6 (born between 06:00 pm and 08:00 pm

2. Write Pisces (the solar sign of it, in this case) in that segment.

3. Following the order of the following signs Pisces, write them in the successive segments in the opposite direction to clockwise: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo and Libra.

4. Segment 1 matches Libra, so Libra is the Ascendant of the always beautiful Elizabeth Taylor.

WHY IS IT  IMPORTANT TO KNOW THE RISING SIGN?

The Ascendant brand personality, our behavior to others, makes a difference to the people of the same sign and explains why being in the same sign, we have very different behaviors and characteristics, this is most noticeable in children.

As I mentioned above, if you want to do a birth chart, it is important to know when you were born, but also in everyday life is important to know it, since its purpose is to know ourselves, why we act in certain ways, for example, Aquarius, known for their idealism, has a little more down to earth if you have the influence of Taurus in its rise. It Indicates learned behavior and the image we present to others. It also relates to the way things tend to start. It Represents the image of the personality seen by others, physical appearance, temperament and our natural inclination. The consciousness is aware of their existence and how it operates through the ascending, which is the focus must be between the conscious and the unconscious world, thus  we express our experiences outside, in order to balance with the Sun, our essence, and the Moon in our unconscious emotions.
